Future Tap's Where To? hns been about for a while now, but its latest iteration, 3.5, makes some important fixes and improvements, chief among which is the addition of augmented reality. Leveraging the iPhone's in-iouilf Maps program. Where To? lets users choose what they're looking for - shopping centres, restaurants, doctors or sweeties -then locates the closest vendor. The augmented reality function, which uses the iPhone's camera to overlay locations, costs another $ 1 19 to use, but you can trial it free for a month. You do get the feeling, however, that Where To? was probably designed with an overseas audience in mind, as some of the categories just don't seem to have any businesses in Australia. Where To? would be a wonderful tool whenever you're travelling, although a more refined search algorithm to make Where To? more locally specific would be a welcome improvement
