Everywhere you turn these days, you run into the undead ; they are in movies, on TV and, of course, in games. Zombie Invasion 2 HD is full of these shambling monsters,and to take out the hordes of the undead there are guns. Lots and lots of guns.
Each level is pretty similar: you control a small gun-toting man at the bottom of the screen. Zombies of different speeds and strengths attack, and the more you kill, the more money you collect to purchase and unlock better, more powerful weapons. Unfortunately, you can only control your avatar's aim, and he remains in the same position for the whole of the game.
The game has three difficulty settings, however, even if you master the lower levels, there isn't much to look forward to.The levels aren't more detailed, the zombies aren't more complex, and though you may get better weapons, you just end up killing zombies a little easier than before.
Verdict
While we're happy that Zombie Invasion 2 HD portrays zombies in a classic 'menacing' setting, the game soon gets repetitive, crashes often, and offers little in terms of enjoyment value.

Speed Forge 3D for Android is an action-packed racing game that gives you six different locations in outer space to race through. It takes advantage of your tablet's accelerometer and provides plenty of feedback as you crash into things as you attempt to hurry along. When you smack into something, you get a plethora of explosions and a wildly vibrating handset.
Once you've got the hang of things in Speed Forge 3D, the competitive element kicks in.You are effectively in a time trial against other racers and are encouraged to get them off your tail by hurling mines and missiles in their direction. Of course, they are just as likely to try the same trick on you. However, since these aren't real racers in the online gaming sense, their reactions are just that - a shame, given the obvious potential and excitement garnered by the graphics and environment
Verdict
Speed Forge's 3D effects are surprisingly good and we found ourselves completely absorbed. What's lacking is the ability to play against other people.You can charge around the preset scenes at breakneck speed, but the world of Speed Forge feels lonely place.

EA has done a great job of bringing its popular sports franchise to the iPad .

On the face of it, FIFA 11 delivers almost everything it's console siblings do. It features a comprehensive list of major and minor football teams from ail over the world, which you can guide through League, Cup, and Friendly contests. Teams can be customised, their tactics tweaked and line-ups changed.
If you've played other FIFA games before, you'll immediately feel at home; if not, it'll take a little while for you to get used to the slight delay in the players' response times. However, once you do you'll be putting together flowing moves, and once that starts happening it's very easy to get sucked in, which is helped by the intuitive virtual joypad and buttons.
FIFA 11's graphics are impressively fluid, and while some of the close-up graphics are a little chunky we could always recognise our team's players.The sound is similarly excellent: there's plenty of commentary, and even if it does occasionally drift into the generic it nevertheless gives the game an authentic feel.
Verdict
A huge roster of teams and intuitive gameplay make FIFA I I the best football game on the iPad.

Gameloft's great-looking sci-fi shooter takes Android gaming to the next level

N.O.V.A. is a first-person shooter in which you play the part of a retired space marine fighting aliens.The game's story is revealed through cut scenes and character voice-overs.
There are 13 levels spread throughout five distinct and beautiful-looking environments.Your arsenal is also fairly robust: six different weapons are available to you including a handgun, shotgun and rocket launcher. Aside from just blasting aliens, you'll get to man turrets on the ground or on the back of a jeep, solve small puzzles to unlock ammo boxes, battle bosses and more. As you progress through the game, you'll unlock special abilities such as freezing enemies or increased run speed. N.O.V.A. plays and feels like a complete console game.
You can even play in online death matches of up to four people via Gameloft Live, check the online leaderboards. set up frag or time limits and choose between five different maps.The online play option adds tons of replay value to an awesome game.
Verdict
No matter which environment you are in N.O.V.A looks great.The sound effects and music are top-notch, too.
