It's simplicity itself: tap on a person's picture to find out more about them, All replies (including new-style retweets) are handled through the back arrow and you can see who's replying to the author by tapping on the tweet itself.
Alongside staple Twitter features such as All Tweets, Mentions, Messages and Favorites, Twitterrific gives you access to the Lists you've created, as well as trending topics under Trends.
You can also show conversations you're involved in, to help you keep track of things. Twitterrific has an unusual in-app upgrade option: you pay £2.99/$4,99 to remove advertising and enable multiple accounts.
The Twitter for iPhone client is richer, but you may prefer Twitterrific^ simplicity.
