If your children crave a particular book for bedtime reading then you need never be at a loss if they want their favourite book with this handy app.
The books menu is nicely presented and well laid out. We opted to view Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as it's a particular favourite from our childhood.
Once you've chosen your selected text, the app then launches straight into the book rather than a chapter listing. The default font is big and bold and very easy on the eye. You can, of course, change its size, font type, colour, and even the paper, in the settings menu. And, if reading from tie beginning of a book to the end is not your style and you want to be able to delve into a specific chapter, you simply click on the chapter menu button from within the book and, hey presto, you have it.
If you tap on the screen, the app will also auto scroll the pages for you - as slow or as fast as you like - and you can double tap again to regain scrolling control. The way you control the scroll of the texts has been really nicely implemented and is an option many will probably use if they're having a lazy day. All in all, this app is an innovative new way to read the great children's classics.
