What's Granimator about?
Granimator is a sound-based wallpaper creator. In a fully immersive touch and sound experience, users tap, pinch and drag a range of styles, shapes and backgrounds across the screen to create visual compositions and sound sea pes. "The key is never to let anyone second-guess us,"declares Mills. "We aim to amaze."
Bespoke artist packs
'Too many studios release a continuous stream of similar looking work,"argues Mills. "Our house style is for each project to be different." Granimator offers a selection of bespoke artist'packs'that collect graphical elements from the likes of Airside and Pete Fowler, The app is free, but packs are sold through in-app.
Simple, tactile interface
The team is particularly proud of the pinch interaction and multi-touch drawing capability:"Both work really well with the assets on the screen,"explains developer Victor Essnert. 'The interface is reasonably minimal, so when the menu is populated with the collaborator's assets, it really allows them to stand out"adds designer Laffers.
Adding sound
Granimator is wonderfully simple to use - you just select and drag different graphic elements around the screen to create interesting looking wallpapers. Best of all, each element also represents a different sound that can be played by tapping the screen. Pinching can tweak the sound's pitch to (literally) fine-tune your masterpiece.

Milking the social web, Granimator has an extensive online presence at Granimator.com to encourage user uploads. "Sharing is loving," adds Victor. "First and foremost, we made it easy to create and interact. Then we made it easy for people to show off their creations while spreading the word of the app."
