Evernote

Note to self: Evernote is an extremely useful app that enables yo j to recall just about everything.

Free Access or create notes from any device

Android doesn't have a standard notes app, but Evernote is so much more than that. Updated in Decemoer, Evernote is an app that enables you to recall just about anything.

The ethos of Evernote is simple take notes in any form and the app wi.l archive them for you in the cloud, 30 you can access them from  any device as well as create notes from any device too - you can even clip web pages to it using your desktop web browser and then recall them on your Android phone.

Whether it's a photo or a file, text or an audio note, you will be able to store it. And, what's more, it's all searchable.

The app needs you to create a free account at Evernote.com. Naturally, there is a premium version as well. Using the free version ycu can only upload 60MB of information a month, while with the paid-for £3/$5 per month version it's 1GB. But still, the free version is more than enough in our experience - unless you want to save lots of images.

Once archived, the notes will appear as thumbnails with text information - this makes it really easy to find that quick 'note to self' that you made a few weeks back.
