If you're a little rusty on the plays of William Shakespeare, you can catch up with the Shakespeare app for the iPhone.

It's a comprehensive collection of all the great bard's plays, poems and sonnets, although there are numerous plugs for the app's creators before you are able to reach your chosen text.

The plays are split up into Acts, making it easy for you to skip to the text you want to read or resume at the same point if you terminated the app mid-way through reading a script.

Text flows down, meaning instead of turning a page as you would in a book or other eBook reader, you have to continually scroll down to read more text.

You can change the settings to move the page down by tapping the screen, but using an Phone, you'll probably feel more accustomed to scrolling. You can also change the size of text and colours to make it easier to read.

Using the iPhone's built in accelerometer, Shakespeare works in both portrait and landscape mode to enable it to it more text on its screen.
It's a shame the app is so basic for an eReader, although it does the job v/ell and makes reading Shakespeare as easy as possible.
