STEP 01 BLOCK PARTS OF THE ITUNES STORE Blocking access to websites with age-inappropriate material is pointless if that same material can be accessed by other means. If you don't want to block iTunes, but are concerned about what it provides access to, use its Parental Control settings
(iTunes > Preferences). These disable certain iTunes features, and content accessed via shared libraries and the iTunes Store can also be restricted. Just remember that existing content in the iTunes library for this account will be unaffected by these controls.
STEP 02 IPHONE
CONTROLS The iPhone also has built-in parental controls, but lacks the fine control found in Mac OS X. Accessed via Settings > General > Restrictions, they allow certain built-in iPhone apps and functions to be disabled, and age ratings can be applied to movies, TV shows and applications. These latter three options also apply to content already stoned on the iPhone (unlike with iTunes), but stored content affected by ratings changes isn't removed, just hidden from view.
