Solid and dependable news delivery from an impressive variety of sources makes for a rounded read.
This app brings you news from over 300 channels, including Associated Press, Canadian Press, Press Association, STATS and AFP, so there should be no shortage of stories once you've fired it up. Stories are separated Into categories like Top Stories, UK News, World News etc, and you can flick between these by swiping left or right. A row of spots at the top of the screen show where you are in the app, or you can hit a dropdown menu to quickly skip to whichever category you want - handy if going to the furthermost.
Some feeds did take longer than others for stories to load, which was a bit annoying, though you can speed this up by switching off the pictures. If you can wait it's worth it though, with high quality photos and a nice balance between them and the text. Of course you can enlarge the font should you not be able to read anything, but we found it perfectly legible and clean.
It would be useful to have a few more than the usual three or four stories on display before having to hit More News, but overall this is a very easy to use app from a reliable news source.
