Within a few seconds of installation this app found our location and told us what the weather was like outside. Its reading was spot on, witch was a good start. Yes, we could have just looked out the window, but where's the fun in doing that?

It uses your phone's GPS to locate you, then gives you a host of weather info such as temperature, wind direction and strength, and whether it's going to rain or not. Tabs along the bottom make it quick to skip to a
map (using Google Maps) to show your location and see what the weather's like elsewhere, a view of the week ahead, a camera image of the location so you can see the conditions for yourself, and charts of even more info, like sunrise and sunset times and t humidity levels.

It's not the best looking weather app out there, but the information is clear and easy to read, and that's most important.

So, not pretty, but accurate, with info from 8,000 weather stations and more than 1,000 cameras helping keep you prepared. And, as anyone who has ever been caught in shorts in a thunderstorm will tell you, that counts for a lot.
