Release your iPhone's full potential 

 When you first open the App Store app you see this screen. It shows you the Apple staffs favourite apps, categories and new apps of interest. Tapping on any app takes you to its page, where you'll find more information, screen shots and reviews. To download an app, tap the price twice and enter your iTunes password if prompted.

 Along the top of the main App Store screen are three options: New, What's Hot and Genius. Tap What's Hot to see more featured apps, Now tap Genius. This recommends apps based on what you already have.

  At the bottom of the App Store app are five buttons: Featured, Categories, Top 25, Search and Updates. The most useful is Categories. Tap this button to view all the different categories in the App Store.

HOW TO / Alter your account

 You can edit your iTunes account on the move, changing your address, payment method, country or region and more. From the main App Store screen, scroll all the way down to the bottom and tap Account: your email here. Touch View Account and enter your iTunes password to sign in.

On the screen that appears, you can change all of your details, which is handy if you want tobuy an app with a different debit or credit card.

 Tapping the Top 25 button at the bottom of the main screen brings up a list of the Top Paid, Top Free and Top Grossing on the App Store, Browse these different lists by tapping the buttons at the top of the screen.

Tap Search at the bottom of the App Store screen. Then, tap the text box at the top and start to type the name of an app you want, or a particular keyword. Tap Updates to get any newer versions of your apps.
