iMovie for iPhone makes it easy to edit and export HD movies on the move

QUICK TIP
If you're likely to want to watch your finished movie on an HDTV, make sure you shoot your footage holding the phone on its side in landscape orientation, to match the TV. You could hold it in portrait, but youll get black bars on both edges of your footage on the TV.

QUICK TIP
You can change the theme linked to your iMovie project at any time while you're working on it. Tap the Settings button at the beginning of your Timeline and choose your new theme. Any titles and transitions that you've added already will be updated to match the theme you've chosen.

Add clips anywhere in your footage by placing the red line at the desired point and tapping Insert Footage. Between clips is a button indicating there's a transition from one to the next. Double tap, choose Theme, Cross Dissolve or None, pick a duration and hit Done.

8 -Finalise and export
Double-tap the first clip. Press Title Style, then Opening. Tap Title Text Here to add words. Do the same with your last clip if you like, choosing Ending. Once you're happy, tap Projects, then Share and pick a resolution to export to. It'll appear in the Photos app.
