If you yearn for the feel of an old fashioned personal organiser, Jorte is designed to deliver that very experience, but on your smartphone. The calendar is the central feature of this app enabling you to scroll horizontally to see each month and view events.
Adding an event is done simply by clicking the date, you will then be able to colours code it in terms of importance, choose the time of day, and so on. You can also import national hoi days whether you are in the US, the UK or Malaysia to give your calendar a more personal touch.
In the to-do list mode you can ma<e notes, rearrange in order of priority and see tasks you've completed. Lastly, there's the homescreen widget which comes in a variety of sizes giving you direct access to the calendar.
Aesthetically, this might not be the prettiest looking application, we've ever seen bit judgement should be served for how well it keeps your life in order.
The inability to set up repeat events is a something of a drawback, but integration with Google Calendar is a definite plus.
