For a long time, we recommended Air Mouse Pro to turn your iPhone into a remote keyboard and mouse - useful if you use your computer as a media centre, for instance -but we're happy to switch our loyalty to TouchPad.
It's a little more expensive, and doesn't do the optional motion-based control of Air Mouse Pro, but it has plenty to recommend it. It's more polished, for one thing, with a beautiful user interface. It also has a view that replicates the physical Apple remote, which is great for using Front Row or Plex.
Plus, it's a cleaner system; it doesn't require a server daemon, instead just using the Mac's built-in VNC client to do the remote mousing and typing. If you have a Windows PC, you can add a VNC client to Windows XP or later to use TouchPad.
