Twidroyd Pro - android Communication

A vampire for phone battery life, but enables you to get the most from the micro-blogging site.

£2.41/$3.99 Twitter made easy

Twidroyd is a Twitter application for Android that seems to get the majority of things right. Here's the good news: the app is easy to setup, asking just for your Twitter log-in details and boasts automatic updates so you don't have to manually refresh to see who's been tweeting.

The problem with this is that it will sap your battery .life quicker than you can tweet. Luckily you can turn this option off and update when you want to. Choose this option and Twidroyd will be a boon.

If you don't just want to read what others are saying on Twitter, you can update your own profile or reply to others. You can even search and look at all your @ replies. The only thing you can't do is follow someone.

The way that the pro version differs from the lite version - other than the financial layout - is that it offers multiple accounts and will
take away the ads that appear on the Lite version. Which is great: but Seesmic and others already offer these advantages for free.

Saying that, accessing Twitter on a phone is one of the best ways to use the micro-blogging site and doing it with Twidroyd couldn't be simpler.
