MyMoney

A cheaper alternative to AnMoney that provides you with uncluttered cash management on the move

£2/$3.18 Manage your cash

Billing itself as the 'only money app you will ever need', MyMoney provides another way of managing your cash while you're on the move. With An Money proving to be such a comprehensive money management app, MyMoney has some stiff competition, but sadly it can't quite match the features offered by some of its rivals.

That said, you should still find everything you need to keep on top of your finances. You can reconcile transactions with your actual bank account, easily create multiple users and bank accounts, use budgets to monitor monthly expenditure and view transactions in a statement.

It's also incredibly easy to use. After you've punched in your security pin, it shows you your named accounts in a list, along with the
current balance for each. Pick one and you'll get a small menu that allows you to enter a new transaction, set a budget, view your payments or see a statement. You car also create categories to label any transaction, which is also exceptionally handy.

The pages boast a clean, spacious layout thanks to their white background, and the buttons and text are nicely sized. Drop-down menus make the process of entering any information fairly hassle free.

We also like the use of icons, liberally dotted about to give the app a friendly, welcoming feel and at 405k it's not particularly memory-hogging, either.

Overall, we prefer AnMoney but this cheaper app provides a pretty decent alternative.
