Audiobooks works just like your iPod playlist. Start up the application and you can select an audiobook by Author, Title, Most Popular, or you can pick one at random.

If you opt to browse through the list of available books, they're presented alphabetically in list form and you con scroll through them by swiping your finger down the list. While at the top of the Browse Titles list, there's a search box that allows you to find a title quickly.

There are more than 2,000 books on the Audiobooks application, all streamed from eBooks site LibriVox. Streaming was pretty fast - the app plays and streams at the same time, so as it plays the first segment, the next part is buffering. This means the quality is clear and you won't have to wait while it buffers the next part of the book.

Unfortunately, you can't stream the content over the 3G network, so you'll have to make sure you have a wifi connection. This also means you won't be able to use it when you're on the move.

Recordings and sound quality is decent for streamed content, although it's not as good as streamed music you'll find on music services and radio apps such as Last.fm or Capital 95.8.
