Quickoffice claims to offer'fast and responsive app performance and we have to agree with its developers on that point.
This app isn't going to make you wan to ditch your laptop or netbook so that you can travel even lighter with just your iPhone when you're away from the office. That said, it does offer a happy medium for those who still want to look at and touch their vital documents when you're on the move and using a laptop isn't convenient.
Quickoffice includes Quickword and Quicksheet that enables you to edit Word documents and Excel files on your iPhone - you can even create documents from scratch if you suddenly find that your boss needs an urgent report. For this you can format and style text, set its alignment and several other useful layout functions.
An innovative 'quicksave' tool also ensures you don't lose valuable data if someone calls you - as soon as you finish the phonecall, the app will reload and present you with the document as you last saw it before you were interrupted.
The app looks quite bland but it more than does the job if you need to edit text and spreadsheet files when on the move.
