We've all been there. Standing at the end of a very long line in the Post Office is not a fun experience. It eats up your entire lunch break leaving you with very little time to eat your lunch. But what if you knew exactly how many stamps your parcel or letter for special delivery needed before you even got to the Post Office?
Enter this app: all you have to do is enter the weight of the item you want to post (so you'll need scales handy) and the app will do the rest for you.
Now that Royal Mail bases its prices on size of package as well as weight, sending mail isn't quite as straightforward as it used to be. But this app also includes a handy weight and size guide to help you work out what's what.
The app will show you prices for the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, as well as giving you more in-depth postage options such as insuring your item. The latter can help you decide whether than extra few pence is really worth it or not, rather than lamenting after you've posted the item and it hasn't arrived.
And it takes literally seconds to work out how much that package will set you back. We can certainly see this app coming in handy for eBayers as well as those who just hate queuing.
