As simple and usable as the Facebook app, but one for MySpacemen and women only.
Free YourSpace makes a comeback
Like the Facebook app, this simplified app enables you to get to your MySpace page on the go. But while MySpace might have lost a lot of its popularity, that hasn't stopped the MySpace Mobile k app trumping the Facebook app in pretty much every way. Not only that, but we really like the way it's designed.
The main MySpace website suffers from a lot of clutter but viewing it from your phone everything feels that little bit cleaner. You can see what comments you might have, check your profile and keep an eye on friend requests. As you'd expect you can also check status updates.
What is missing is MySpace chat. While it might not be something you'd always use on the move, it seems like a bit of a missed opportunity that the app doesn't have it here. If you're already a MySpace fan this an essential app - as it is if you follow any of the numerous music artists that have a profile on the site.
But if you deleted you' own profile and jumped ship long ago when Facebook and Twitter lured you -then there's unfortunately little here to entice you back.
